I don’t know why this haunting, disturbing music makes me so gleeful, but when I hear it, I get a smile about a million miles wide. Enjoy.

I’m a video game designer and programmer in San Francisco. I grew up in Montpelier, Vermont and moved out to California in June of 2004 to start a company and a new life.
The company is Unknown Worlds Entertainment, and we have a simple (but not easy) goal: to unite the world through play. We are working on our third game, called Natural Selection 2, an online action/strategy game set in our own sci-fi universe.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, country western dancing, working out and enjoying the beauty found everywhere around San Francisco.

The world would be both happier and sadder if more videos were made like this.
Holy crap these places are beautiful. Some of these are like Lothlorien, but they actually exist.
You need multiple, independent circles of gaming friends for playtesting, and you need to be very careful not to burn them out. Don’t browbeat people into playtesting because you won’t be able to gauge their feedback.
